Three separate people told us to do this hike. We finally listened.
Know before you go
- Parking lot fills by 9am on weekends. We got the second-to-last spot at 8:40.
- The “moderate” rating is honest — one steep stretch near the falls, the rest is a walk in the woods.
- Bring a snack for the overlook. Sitting there with trail mix while the mist rolls off the falls is the whole point.
